skeptic me says " A change of seasons, chocolate, sunshine, and driving music can't just magically change your brain around"

Scientific me says "Fuck you, jerk. Can't you see you're laughing, smiling and generally feeling like yourself again? The answer seems pretty empirically obvious to me!"

*skeptic me mopes off into the distance, shrugging and giving up*

*Scientific me gloats*

Happy Easter you lucky girl!

This is for Scientific you: Chocolate increases the flow of seratonin in your brain, improving mood and the flow of brain impulses.

Music is proven to effect mood, both positively and negatively, it also effects blood pressure and pulse rate.

Sunlight increases the flow of Vitamin E and Selenium, improving biologic immunity, and improving skin tone.

Just thought I'd help your argument.

*Scientific me uses the info to gleefully beat the crap out of skeptic me*

Scientific me is feeling her oats.

sounds to me like you have seasonal affective disorder.
I know when the seasons change back for me, I get chocolate euphoria and want to see the sunlight and my SAD symptoms go away.
I use a light in the winter, or I would be a wreck

It's probably pretty likely that I do have mild seasonal affective disorder, and my reserve of good brain chemistry was depleted about the beginning of March. Throw on that a sad parting of ways, some work stress, and cabin fever brought about by having to share one vehicle all winter, and there you have it.

Oh I am so there with you.
Especially the sharing one car thing (between 3 people here)
my stress level is really bad right now
