Schrödinger's Pussy
Observing a box has never been this much fun
it's a new dawn, it's a new day

I continue to be stunned by the gorgeous weather we've been having in April. 70+ degree days, 50+ degree nights. The entire landscape is starting to burst with color. I am hearing rumors of near 80 temps on Friday leading to thunderstorms. You know that I'm delighted! We just got a fancy new weather radio that I'm anxious to hear report activity. (nothing sadder than a new weather toy and no weather!) This one is cool. It will let us know if we need to be aware of avalanches and icebergs. Those are warnings that will totally tip the scales! Oh! And it will also tell us about volcano eruptions. Not knowing could certainly keep me up at night!

Ever have that feeling of laying low, building your reserves, making your choices, calculating the costs, and rallying your forces? That's sort of what my head feels like today. I think that there is a potential for an explosion of intent, but the pressure hasn't built up to release yet. I am suffering from the watched pot not boiling syndrome. Look away. Look away now...

Can I ask what radio you got? I've been looking for one, but haven't really found one with all the features I want yet. I definitely want the SAME technology. And the ability to select the kind of alarm for each weather situation or at least a volume setting for it is a high priority too. I don't want to be woken up at 4am with ear-piercing noise for just a thunderstorm, but in the case of a tornado, that'd be A-OK!
