Yesterday was a blissful study in slacking.
Brian cleaned and cataloged
the ~30 new albums we got from our Christmas money. Musical Memories in Flint is such a wonderful place to spend a few hours browsing. I'm hoping today I get to hear some of them.
I got 1/2 of Jennifer's scarf done when I ran out of yarn. That means a trip out soon. Fortunately, it's not a rare kind. I also spent the day watching Doctor Who on BBCA. Dinner was a spiral cut ham, sweet potatoes, pea pods, and crescent rolls.
Brian's childhood friend Leonard (of the infamous "Leonard Stories") and his girlfriend Lisa are coming over for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to it, and anticipating some verbal sparring. He has that bratty older brother feel to him.
Right now I'm enjoying coffee and donut holes, thinking about writing, and still watching Doctor Who.
It's not the most exciting of days, but it's mighty wonderful.
