I rolled out an amazing new website for work which was the culmination of more than a year's hard work.
I passed both my ham Tech and General tests. I had been studying for my Tech license since the second of January. On Wednesday night, Craig mentioned to Brian that we could both take our next level up test at no extra cost. So on Wednesday night, I started studying for it. Due to Brian's dad being hospitalized, I lost most of the day for studying and was only able to read through the book once and take about 15 practice tests.
Brian's dad is doing much better and should continue to improve. His level of dehydration was scary, along with frighteningly high calcium levels (ripe for stroke or heart attack). He was progressively getting more lucid and in control as time passed. He just really needed rest and liquids.
Tonight, we are in Ohio, celebrating. I suspect I might deliberately sacrifice some braincells to the celebration. I really need to coast for the weekend.
Starting Monday, I will have 4 months to work on my talk for the astronomy group, I need to learn as much as I can about predicting evening weather in Michigan. If I can pass my General test with 48 hours notice, I can do this!!
Right now, I feel like I could accomplish anything.
