Brian and I took pictures of each other before we headed out to the Elga Employee Appreciation Party on Saturday. The party was fun, the drinks almost too strong, and the prizes were copious. Brian had been wanting a 30 gig video iPod of his own, since he gave me the one he chose last year. He scored a sleek black one for himself this year. The DJ was better this year, but I really am just an 80's era goth girl. The pop music that's currently the rage just doesn't do anything to get my dance groove going. I guess I just can't get Fergilicious. But it was a great time, regardless. Note to self: Next year, wear something that will be as comfortable at 6 pm as it is at midnight. The beautiful dress I wore really didn't have a lot of give for dancing moves and I felt too restricted to boogie for long.
Brian and I spent yesterday recovering from too much cheap vodka. It was a lovely, slow sort of day where nothing much happened other than a good breakfast at a local hole-in-the-wall and a quick stop for groceries.
