The good: IBM Warranty Service is wonderful. They are helpful, quick, and a pleasure to talk to. My laptop died while I was working on it on Wednesday morning. It just decided to lock up and black out the screen. If I booted it, it would stay on for about 3 minutes, then freeze. They had a DHL box for me on Thursday and it was back, with a new planar board yesterday morning. I missed my Lecza! She's now working like a champ again.
The bad: Someone got rid of their cold by passing it on to me. I believe the term being bandied about is "snot fountain." *burble*
They ugly: People who put the blame on me for their own actions. I'm pretty good at shouldering more than my fair share of responsibility. Sure would be nice to see some people do the same.
