Email from my CEO today:I am doing the HAPPY dance right now!
I am thrilled that you want to take this on as we have not utilized it since we got it over ten years ago. There is so much we will be able to accomplish with someone dedicated to learning it's power! I have been waiting for someone to say that they will really enjoy this, so thank you Debra for making my day! Please call Raddon and introduce yourself and ask what is available for training. Then we will decide the best option to allow you to learn all that you can!
Do I have a proposition for you! Quick Synopsis:
1. - I want to use Raddon to provide campaign information for Marketing
2. - I have Nancy and Margie's support
3. - I need training
4. - IT is getting me access without having be tied to a workstation at a desk
5. - I need your support to move forward with getting training and then making campaign determinations Full Explanation:
Nancy had me sit in a meeting last week where Harland presented a pricey evaluation to show us how they can massage our data against their models for marketing campaigns. After the meeting, Nancy and I put our heads together and I asked about what we could get ourselves from Raddon. Nancy liked my questions and made me project manager to see what we could accomplish through Raddon versus adding another vendor to the layers.
My next stop was with Margie, who gave me a lot of wonderful information regarding Raddon capabilities and how I might approach this as a project. She suggested training and gave me the PowerPoint slides from the session you and Katie attended. She asked Brian to get me set up to use a machine remotely that can run Raddon instead of having to tie me to a workstation here.
I love doing the work that I do here because it's technical and artistic. My brain needs both, and I have been fascinated with the data that I learned we have since Nancy took me to the Raddon seminar when I first started. I would love to throw my brain into the mix and make use of this fantastic resource.
So, my hat is in the ring for being your go-to person for gathering the information about the marketing segments and marketing campaigns. Let me know if you'd like me to go forward.
I feel like a career chameleon. All of my life, once I've started a job I go into it in one capacity and before six months are up, I've found myself with a fascinating, challenging project that takes me in directions I never could have seen. Three times today I heard "you are one of the few people here that have the brains and vision to actually take this project and make it succeed." Yeah, I live for this kind of thing. Ordinary just isn't my bag.
