I really feel the need for change. It's pretty fierce today.

Things I don't want to mess about with:
- Relationships
- Job
- Health

Things I am considering changing
- Body
- Journaling
- Socializing
- My bedroom

December is too early to feel cabin fever.

EDIT: SCORE!!!!!!!!!!! Brian says we can completely gut and redo our bedroom!!!!!

Indeed! I have a nail appointment at 10 am next Thursday, the 3rd. Any chance there could be a lunch date that day?

yes! i'm totally free that day - name the time/place and i'm there (:

WHOOOO! I vote for putting the bed headboard against the far wall opposite and to the right of the door.

Hmm. Colors?
27th-Dec-2007 03:22 pm (UTC)
All shades of charcoal so that I can put bold splashes of whatever color moves me at the time.

We're looking at all new furniture that can be moved around. And I finally will get my king size bed...though Brian says he knows I really want a wall to wall bed. Who can argue?!
27th-Dec-2007 03:27 pm (UTC)
Truly. Cannot argue with that. I mean, come on? A bed worthy of 3 or more? Absolutely!

Would the charcoal go well with the warm and the cool tones? Really?
27th-Dec-2007 03:54 pm (UTC)
I believe that charcoal is truly a neutral and will go with a scarlet as well as with sage, or a periwinkle. I would want the furniture in a darker wood like a walnut or the cherry to match the doors. I love breaking the normal rules anyway, but you knew that.

I was thinking that the bed I want would hold four quite comfortably.

I agree with the walnut for a wood tone. Maybe the cherry if you found one dark enough.

I would definitely play around with the lighting first. I'm thinking that you're going for a bower type look that's both intimate and expressive and designer lighting has had leaps and bounds since that house was built (as I'm sure you know). Not to mention, if you're going for that 4 or more bed, lighting will *really* be an issue. Not only will you need something bright for reading and relaxing but something else soft and able to show off skin tones to their finest.

*blush* Now I'm getting all sorts of ideas and pictures in my head and you're too far away, dammit.

Aww, darlin', I am not that far away. Only minorly inconvenient. Certainly not as far as say, Wisconsin, was.

And yes. Lighting will be something certainly to consider carefully.

I am eager to hear every detail of the ideas in your head.
