The Science Channel is broadcasting the landing of the Phoenix on Mars, live. And I wept again when it landed. I can't explain it, but I am so blown away with what we are accomplishing. It's a part of our humanity that gives me hope. It's amazing what we can do. Just...astounding.

Brian says that he's heard that there will be a push to start televising more space related events. Now there's some reality TV I'd make time to see. I think that the only channels that will pick these up will Discovery/Science, but bless them for being smart. I noticed a commercial for a 6 week HD series starting next month on the Science Channel that we're eager to see. Lots of previously unseen moments in the space program all in HD. I am thrilled that they are bringing Space back!
