We had a stellar weekend with seph_ski & legi0n. Brian got his new Browning High Power so the conversation with the guys was mostly about that or the cool Asus Eee that Craig brought up. Jen and I really enjoyed the boys geeking. Besides getting some outlining done with some fabulous encouragement from Jen, she also taught me how to make glass beads! After watching her make several today, we took a break and went to lunch. When we got back it was my turn and I loved it! So many colors and techniques and...fun with FIRE!! I'm hooked. Here's what we made (counting from the left on the string, I made numbers 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, & 15).

There was also an abundance of good food. I feel like I won't have to eat for days. But I am feeling happier than I have in a very long time.

Thanks for all the AWESOME eats and the comfy bed and for drinking margaritas with us! Oh, and the BATMAN movie tix!!! (I'm Batman!)

When you come visit us we'll have more torch time, and maybe some lathe time too. ;)

You MADE the beads?!?!? WOW. Are they hard to make? I use to do Fimo clay beads once, never thought of GLASS ones.

Kudos to you!

Are all the bead-makers from Ohio? I have a friend in Ohio who makes glass beads, too -- it IS addicting.
