Going to do the Farmer's Market and Butcher Shop run today. Going to site in our two newest pistols. Make a nice dinner. Basically a low key Saturday. I'm also going to write this afternoon.
Tomorrow we'll go to the firing range for some target practice and I'll also look to see what they have in .38 or 9mm revolver. I can't take my CCW class with a .22, so I want to find something that I can use for self defense training. Ahhh...you've got me there. This is all an elaborate ruse to justify the purchase of a really sweet new purse
that I can use instead of a belt holster.
Picked up some yellow biodegradable 6mm shot for my air pistol from Bass Pro last night. They didn't have any of the glow in the dark shot for tracer rounds when we want to mess about in the evenings here. Brian has some ideas for targets we can use. Shooting at my bell chime sounds nice, but we need more of a challenge. We got the Walther soft air pistols at Bass Pro
for about $25. Brian even let his grandson Christopher shoot it. At nearly 5, he's a pretty decent shot already, just like his dad who has Navy medals for marksmanship. These pistols won't penetrate skin, but will likely leave a nasty welt. Just a warning for the critters that get destructive around here.
