Ok...the way I see it is kinda like this.
- We make a decision to do something. It's not an accident, it didn't happen to us, we did this on purpose.
- The product of our decision turns out to be really difficult. We knew it could. But it is now our responsibility.
At this point, it's a statement of our character and our worth as a human being how we deal with it. Passing it off as someone else's responsibility to deal with because you no longer want to says a lot.
This has been brewing in my craw for a while and I keep seeing the pattern repeated with several people. I'm thoroughly disgusted with some choices I've read/heard because I see true heroes and how they deal with things when it gets difficult.
Crumble or make some sacrifices. The choices were yours to make, now pony up.
