Y'know those toys that have a metal key of some sort that you turn and when you let go, the toy moves about?
These days I'm seeing us all as those types of toys. The media/Internet/stress are the wicked children that won't stop winding up the toy. Toys can be overwound and their mechanisms sprung.
Today, I am the toy that got wound too hard and am now gleefully in pieces waiting repair watching all the other toys. Sometimes, reaching the breaking point is a gift.
Here are two things that have me broken in a good way:Jill Bolte's TED conference talk
This is 18 minutes of an amazing story and worth every moment. Her experience provides empirical proof of a spiritual concept I hold dear. Much gratitude to seph_ski
The other is a damn fine example of getting wound up to the point of breaking in a good way. Do us both a favor if you read it: Start from the oldest post at the bottom and read them so you get them in the order they were posted. Also, don't get mired in trying to read the comments. http://antispore.com/
Savor the moment when it hits. I was lead to this site by cavalorn

Have an awesome day. I am.
